Passed Corse Island on its left, the Norge proceeds heading north-west. In the early afternoon, the airship flies over the Tyrrhenian Sea and reaches France, crossing its territory throughout the night. The weather conditions are overall good but the wind is very strong, which is why it was chosen to forgo the planned stop at Rochefort airport.
