At 12.30 (local time), the NORGE arrives near Oslo, the capital of its registration country. The welcome is triumphal right from the approach: planes take off to greet the arriving airship. A large crowd celebrates throughout the city, filling squares, streets and roofs of buildings. The NORGE makes a few turns on the fjord and the city then moves to the locality of Ekeberg to moor at the mast.
Upon arrival, the King of Norway, Haakon IV, is waiting with the city authorities. The Norwegian crew members get off the airship through the mast and greet their friends and fellow citizens, while the Italians provide supplies.
