At 6.50 am the mooring maneuver is completed; the airship is refueled and around 9.30 (local time) Nobile gets off the mast to greet the governor. The governor of Vadsø offers the flyers a small reception at his home, swamped for the occasion with large Italian flags. To respect the timing of the expedition, lunch is held around 10:00 in the morning.
