After more than two weeks stationary in the hangar, on May 5 the NORGE, at 9.00, takes off from Gatchchina to the cheers of the soldiers and to the sound of a military band of the Red Army. As soon as it reaches the navigation altitude, the airship is hit by strong atmospheric turbulence that causes it to continuous changes in altitude and strong oscillations in pitch and roll.
